When's the latest I can order?
This depends on your supplier. Suppliers have a last order
time for making deliveries, and a last order time for collection. The website
will not allow you to make the corresponding order type once these
limits have passed.
How do I order for everyone?
You create a LunchBox for each person you want to order for. This is a simple process that takes seconds, but it allows the system to remember what each persons tastes and favourites are. Each user can also login separately to order their own lunch.
Can I order by phone or fax?
Supplier details can be seen via the website, so you can contact them to make
enquiries.
Can I cancel my order?
Yes, until the order has been passed to production. There is a cancel option for each LunchBox.
Can I change my order?
You can do this by canceling an order you have made, and re-ordering.
Do suppliers do free deliveries to my area?
You are shown suppliers minimum delivery charges before you place an order.
How long do deliveries take?
Orders are only processed once all the orders for users in your Office LunchBox have been made.
How long it takes exactly depends on when you order and where you are, and are down to the individual supplier.
Nuts & other allergies
We have no influence on the content of suppliers products. Those with severe
nut allegies should avoid any products which typically may contain nuts (especially
Brown bread, pesto etc), or contact suppliers to confirm content.
Office LunchBox
An Office LunchBox is created when you first register and you become the administrator of it.
You add all the members of your office for whom you want to order food to your office LunchBox.
Once your
group contains more than one member, you may want somebody else, such as the
receptionist, to administer the group (collect payments etc.). The group administrator
can redefine the administrator to any other member of the group.
Ordering on time
Having
trouble remembering to order early?
To help you to get your order in on time, we have two options for you.
We can send you an email reminder at a time you specify in My Settings after you login.
Or, why not show LunchBox.co.uk automatically
when you log in each morning? You don't need to set it as your default home
page, you can just start it as follows:
(Print this page off to make the task easier then pass it to others who use the service).
Click on Start (Normally at the bottom left corner of the screen).
Highlight Settings
Move accross to Taskbar & Start Menu & click on it.
On the Taskbar Properties form, Click on the "Start Menu Programs" or "Advanced" tab.
Click on Add
Click on Browse
Now you need to find IExplore.exe... For most computers, it will be found as
follows:
Double Click on your Program Files folder (Normally in C:)
Find, then Double Click on Internet Explorer.
You should now see IExplore.Exe, Double click on it.
Something like the following line should now be visible in the Create Shortcut
form.
"E:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe"
Now click the above line once (so that it is no longer highlighted), move to
the end of the line, leave a space after the inverted comma, and add: www.lunchbox.co.uk
So now the box should read....
"E:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\Iexplore.exe" www.lunchbox.co.uk
Now click Next On the Select Program Folder, Find the StartUp Folder, and double
click it.
As a title, you could use LunchBox. Finally, click finish.
Each time you log in to your computer LunchBox.co.uk will now be visible too.
However, your current home page will still start as normal whenever you manually
launch internet explorer.
